The Club’s first Open Day of the season was held last Saturday.  The beautiful weather encouraged a better than expected number of people who were warmly welcomed by the organisers and all the helpers.  25 attendees expressed an interest in membership.

Last week the Ladies played Kings Langley at home in the District Rinks League in a very tight match. They won 16-15 on one rink and lost 15-20 on the other, after gaining the lead in the first half,  resulting in 10pts to St Albans and 20pts to the opposition.  A better result was achieved on Sunday when a mixed triples team, playing a  friendly at home to Welwyn & District, won on all 4 rinks giving an overall victory of 87-35.
