Open Days

Big Bowls Weekend

The weekend went pretty well considering the weather was not too kind for us, especially on the Sunday. Over the 3 Open days there was a total of 37 people who "had a go", of which 24 of them advised they would like to take the matter further with the potential they will sign up, 2 actually signed up on the day on Sunday although they had shown previous interest earlier in the month.  14 attendees were the result of being persuaded or informed by friends, 10 as a result of the notices around the park and the club notice board, 2 from the Herts Advertiser, 2 from the Bowls England Website and 1 from Facebook, and 4 were persuaded by club members approaching people walking round Clarence Park and 4 who gave no reason on their form.  Many thanks to Richard and all the helpers.
